Our vision and mission thus is very clear and simple. We want to help people, government agencies and corporations to provide accessibility to the blind and disabled people. Our Accessibility Checker is a 100% free for checking your web site and verifying whether you stand as a people friendly, caring organization. We are dedicated to this mission and we promise to spend a good portion of our earning for the same cos in the coming years.

Satheesh G Nair (Magic) - Founder

Ask Magic and he will say..."To solve a problem in the society and help the disabled understand the internet better" the only goal for 508ita. Magic has been in the IT industry for as much as two decades. He has earlier created software products and services companies. Magic has authored and published several articles and papers. 

A Serial entrepreneur Magic has earlier worked for Swisscom and Computer Associates (CA) before he started his business life. His biggest achievement was building a wireless startup company from the scratch were he was responsible for building as much as sixteen different applications and pervasive computing platforms, for mobile computing RFID and messaging. Currently he is the founder president of O2a systems the first true opensource software solutions company in India. Magic is also the part of a technology incubation initiative where they incubate highly talented technology professionals. A telecom engineer turned entrepreneur magic believes his greatest contribution to any team he works with is to coach them to turn the wealth taps on. Magic teaches new coaching methods to his team to have the “magical touch” “magical thinking” and “magical skills” in every thing they do. 

 

Ramdas (Ramdy) - Technology Guru

Ramdy is the technology guru of 508ita. He is also the Director of IQ Techmedia, a leading Technology Publishing House based in India. He has over 13 years of experience in IT industry and over nine years in technology publishing. In the 13 years he has done several roles including that of an Software Developer, Editor, Journalist, Project Manager-at-large, publisher, entrepreneur, evangelist and a research specialist. 

He received his formal education in Computer Science Engineering, and spend the first two years as a developer. In 1997, he switched to the exciting and nascent world of technology journalism, with a stint with the Indian Express Bombay Group. He also set up a consulting practice was involved in some of the earliest technology market research in India. 

In 2000, he launched IQ Research, technology research and content development company which was one of the leading content suppliers to the earliest of Indian Dot Coms. He later in associated with Mumbai based Candid Group started IQ Techmedia launched India's first developer magazine ( Developer IQ) and Asia's first Biotechnology magazine (BioSpectrum which was acquired by CyberMedia in 2002). 

He also continues to be on board of directors and advisors of several companies, associations, publications and societies including Lanbit Networks, DIQ Technologies, Agile Software Community of India, Bangalore Python User group, CMP India, Sogo group among others. 

Over the past three years, he has set up a successful software consultancy practice under the umbrella of his various publishing outfits. Microsoft India in 2003 had recognized his contributions specifically to MSDN activities in India and for the leadership with Developer IQ and awarded him "The Technical Contributor of the Year."
